This new translation Philippo Vadi’s “On the Art of Swordfighting” focuses on making the text as accessible as possible to modern readers. It uses high quality scans of all images and plain English to improve readability. More importantly, the translation resolves many of the apparent inconsistencies in the text by carefully cross-referencing between the different parts of the source to make a clear and coherent final work.
